Hockey Center in Gangneum

Yonphyun ski center is one of the most famous ski resorts in South Korea.

Yonphyun hosted the ski center in 1998, 2000 and 2003 Stages of the World Cup.

Sanno-Bobsleic Cetr Alpencia

The Alpencia Sanno-Bobslene Cetr is a complex of bobslane, sled and skeleton tracks located in the resort town of Alpensia near the South Korean village of Dekalmyen in the county of Pyeongchang.

The construction of the Sanno-Bobsleny Center began in December 2013, and the final introduction of the entire infrastructure of the center is scheduled for the end of 2017. The capacity of the stands for the audience is 7000 seats.

The maximum length of the track will be 2018 meters. The starting position is at an altitude of 940 meters, and the finish is located at an altitude of 800 meters.

Hockey center Cannine

The Kannyna Hockey Center is an ice arena located in the city of Cannin. During the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, the facility will become the main scene of hockey competitions. There will also be held competitions for trace-Hockey.

The construction of the arena began in March 2014, and the official opening took place in March 2017. The capacity is 10 thousand spectators.

In 2017, the Kannyna Hockey Center in the framework of test competitions adopted world championships in the second division of group “A” among women and juniors.

Ice Arena Cannine

The canine ice arena during the 2018 Winter Olympic Games will host a figure skating and short track.

The official opening of the arena took place on December 14, 2016. The capacity is 12 thousand spectators.

As part of the pre-Olympic test competitions in the Kannyna Ice Arena, the 2017 Figure Skarea Championship was held, the championship of four curly skating continents (2017), the stage of the World Cup in Short Treku (2017).

Biathlon Center Alpencia

The biathlon center is located within the territorial boundaries of the Alpencia ski resort (mountain cluster). During the Winter Olympic Games, Pyeongchang-2018 will accept Biathlon competitions.

The object was built in 1998, the main reconstruction was carried out in 2007 and 2015.

Alpencia biathlon center has become the venue for the stages of the Biathlon World Cup in the seasons 2007/2008 and 2016/2017. In 2009, the center adopted the World Biathlon Championship.

The Olympic stadium of Pyeongchang is a temporary arena built for the opening and closing of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games of 2018. It is located a mountain cluster 2 km north of the Alpencia ski resort.

Construction time: 2014 – 2017. The official opening of the stadium took place on September 30, 2017.

The stadium is designed for 35 thousand spectators. It has the shape of a pentagon.

The skhnon ski center

The Jongson ski center is located on the slope of Mount Garvang in the city zone of Pukphyun-Men County Chonson-Gun Province Kanvon-Do. Officially opened on January 22, 2016.

During the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, the center will host a skiing competition in high-speed descent disciplines, super-G and combinations in men and women.

The length of the route for high -speed descent in women is 2499 m (height drop – 730 m/1275 m – 545 m), in men – 2852 m (height drop – 825 m/1370 m – 545 m). The length of the highway for super-G for women is 1982 m (height drop-565 m/1110 m-545 m), in men-2217 m (height drop-650 m/1195 m-545 m).

For the audience, 6,500 places are equipped, of which sedentary – 3600 and standing – 2900.

Kerling Center Cannna

The Kerling Center of Cannine, into which the covered ice rink will turn during the 2018 Olympic Games, will accept Cerling competitions. The arena is located in the coastal South Korean city of Cannnn. The center already hosted competitions in 1999 as part of the winter Asian Games, international figure skating tournaments at various levels (2005, 2011), the World Todrek World Championships (2007) and Kerling (2009).

The construction of the facility was started and completed in 1998. The capacity of the arena is 3.500 spectators.
